I have been reading a lot of YA (young adult) lately. I am always drawn to the concepts and plots, but the character drive me crazy.

I think I need to lay off YA for a while and look for some adult fiction that has similar concepts and themes.

In other news, I have been totally unproductive today.

I like YA novels, too. Everytime I go to the bookstore, I walk out with at least one YA book among others. But there are some decent adult books that deal with similar things, such as Chloe Neill's Chicagoland Vampire Novels. Of course, it matters what kind of YA novels you're looking for. I'm assuming you were referring to supernatural/paranormal stuff.

Yeah, I tend to read the urban fantasy/paranormal type stuff. I always like the ideas and concepts in those books. I just get tired of the teen angst. I get enough of that on a daily basis! LOL

I've started reading Kat Richardson's "Greywalker" novels. They're kinda intriguing.

I'll have to check them out. I'm so burnt out on "OMG! Does he like me?" these days ;)
