My story "Work In Progress," a Dark Angel story about the Alec and Joshua friendship, is still getting reviews. I've always been very proud of that story, but I am surprised just how many people like it. But this post isn't about reviews/feedback. In terms of stories being favorited over on FF.net, it's my 3rd highest. The top spot goes to SG-1 story "Echoes of Autumn" and the second spot goes to SPN story "The Genesis Variant," but the DA fic is like the little fic that could, LOL.

So that made me smile today.

You know how I feel about that story, but I'll tell ya again anyway. :)

Work in Progress is, I think, one of the best Joshua & Alec fics out there. You hit both of their personalities perfectly, you got Joshua's voice right without making him sound like a three-year-old, and it's sweet and sappy and angsty and hurty and comforty all at once, and it's wonderful.

God, I love that fic.

Oh! That one is yours too? That's awesome! I remember reading that story. It was one of the best I ever read in that fandom! *bites lip* I think I behaved and reviewed it when I read in ffnet... I hope I did anyway *g*

Dark Angel fan? I think I know this but might have forgotten. The show is on my rewatch list. I so want to write more fic for it, but I need to rewatch the characters before I can do it. That why I can finally write the requests I have.

I been wanting to make more DA art but Smallville and SPN arts are still in the works so I had to put on hold everything else.
you like my animated DA one? its a reversal of the scene instead of Max pushing Alec away I reversed it so she's pulling him to her *feels clever* :P
You have any icon/gif requests? I got both gag reels for the DA seasons and I think I have the scene of Joshua and Alec painting, among others.

Yeah. Most of my art is on hold for a while as I try to sort through things in real life. But I definitely want to make more DA art too.

Yes, the icon you have there is clever. It does look like she's dragging him in. However, I am in a minority that doesn't ship Max/Alec ;) I can appreciate it, though, even if I don't ship them.

I'll think about some requests. I'm sure there's something I'd love. I just have to remember which scenes I like. I've only seen each episode once, so my recall is not so hot ;)

*stares at your icon* aww dont be scared. :P I'm not a Logan hater. I'm enjoying Michael on NCIS :D thanks to Jensen indirectly pimping it out at the convention last year :)
I'm very flexible on Max/Alec (even though I'm eccentric about em in private...not enough MA fans on my flist *sad face*) I can take them as just friends/frienemies or just comrades, but I wont except Alec as a replacement of Ben or Zack, as much as the writers tried to push the idea of him as a jerky big brother in the last half of s2 I found too many hints of Alec sexually attracted to Max in the start of s2 and I dont think it was due to the breeding program, MA fans like to claim thats how they're "made for eachother" but i think the breeding program was a cover for Alec for Renfro's plan.
another thing he's always shacking up with blondes, might be because dark haired girls remind him of Rachel?
I would write a post about why MA has become my ultimate OTP (weird cuz I'm a canon fan) but I'll wait til I get active more in that shipdom, Dean/Jo and Clois has me busy right now.
