Massive Winter Storm??

Whoa wait a sec. Where did this storm come from and why do I just know about it NOW? Over a foot of snow possible in my area?

Not sure whether to be happy or sad. That's an awful lot of snow to shovel...

ETA: And we're in a blizzard watch. Perhaps we should stock up on groceries.

I didn't know about it until The Husband came home yesterday and mentioned it. Pottery has been canceled, but a BDay party the Misses are going to hasn't. Not sure if we'll go to that as it's 20 min away...

LOL! You must be like me and not listen to the news much. I just found out about it last night actually. Today I've been hearing more about it. They say approximately 8 inches will be dumped upon us starting tomorrow night and going into Sunday...of course our severe winter storm warning went into effect around 3pm today so that tells me they're not really sure when the things supposed to start.

Word to the wise...

If you venture out to get groceries be prepared for the lines! There were tons of people in the grocery story this afternoon when I was there. Agh so we have last minute Christmas shoppers (sadly that does include me) and those who like to stock up for winter storms all on the roads together...makes for quite a bit of traffic. :)
