My Bloody Valentine Question

Okay, so if I were to watch this movie, are there any gory scenes involving eyeballs? I can't watch anything to do with eyeballs so if there are and you've seen the movie, then please tell when they happen if you can remember. I shall be turning away. Also please tell me anything else that is super squemish and I will be turning away for that, too, LOL.

I don't gross out easily, and I've watched horror before. To date, I've only had to turn my head twice for SPN: Once involved an instrument sticking out of a guy's throat and the other had to do with eyes.

Though I wonder if I should even bother to watch at this point. I'm pretty sure I've been spoiled who the baddie is now on multiple occasions and in a movie like this it sort of kills the interest for me :(

Erm. Well, I'm not at all squeamish and was rather disappointed. :( I only got to jump once and that was because I was looking for my glasses and when I looked up there was a dead 3D hand.

There's a lot of blood spray if I remember correctly. There are a few moments for the weak tummies out there but like I said, I'm not squeamish so I can't tell.

My verdict. Watch it with someone just in case. :)

Yes, there is one involving eyeballs...I know there is one in the beginning, but I don't remember any others, I kinda get grossed out easily and didn't watch much of it because of the gore.

the only thing I had to look away, while watching the 2nd time of course because I had no idea what was about to hit me the 1st time, was in the opening (more or less). While they are in the mines for the first time, with the one blonde *???* girl, I think. When she is glued to a post, unable to move because she is scared, and what happens to her, this was definetely too much for my liking. Other than this, nothing I couldn´t handle. I don`t scare this easy anymore (thanks to SPN *g*)

yeah, and this coming from someone who is almost unable to watch the scene from the SPN Pilot ep where Mary discovers John is sleeping in a chair, and that it is someone else with baby Sam.

This scene I can hardly watch, it gives me goosebumps.

Watch MBV anyway. IMO, the performance Jensen delivers, this makes up for any spoiler you might have catched already.

Lol yeah the first onscreen death is a pick through the eye. And then there's a second death with the pickaxe through the eye later on. The first is very sudden too, I jump everytime, unless I look away, I think the warning sign is when the guy says "Jason" so look away when you hear that name, the second gives you fair warning.
Other gory parts, well the music could help you out there, you know when it gets really intense then it stops? thats when most likely a kill/attack will occur.
I enjoy this one more than Friday the 13th, that one scares the crap out of me.

This is merely my opinion, but I believe the goriness is actually ruined by the fact that the 3-D effects look ridiculous for the most part. There comes a point where something is so over-the-top that it ceases to be shocking and becomes funny. A lot of the violence in this movie was like that: cartoonish and just too much. But it's all a matter of perspective. One person's absurdity could be another person's nightmare, so I'd tread lightly.

I don't recall anything with eyeballs, but I'm trying not to dwell on the movie. LOL! The best actor in it was Jensen and he was the main reason I even watched it.
