Refrigerator Noise? Or Lack Thereof?
Sep. 3rd, 2009 01:00 pmUm, is it normal for refrigerators to not make the hum hum noise that I usually hear when they're running? I never pay much attention to it, but when I was fishing around the freezer just now to see what veggie I wanted to cook with supper, the noise snapped off. It's been quiet since. I was banging around quite a bit up there because everything kept flying out at me, but nothing that would break anything. i was just moving stuff around and putting it back like I normally do.
Now the entire fridge is very very quiet and I don't know if it's supposed to stop like this once in a while and I never noticed before, or if something is off.
ETA: Nevermind! The hum-hum's back!

I think I was like... 30 or something the first time I realized that the fridge isn't running all the time.
