Of Two Fanfic Minds

I keep bouncing between writing my gen wing!fic story and my Sam AU. At this rate, I'll finish them both at the same time.

Oh, man, so many plots so little time. I have the same issue at times. Usually, I really want (or feel that I NEED) to work on a certain story but I find all my ideas pertain to a different one entirely.

I vote for wing!fic. I'm just too completely addicted to it, and there's so little of it that's done well.

I just love wings so much for some weird reason. Angel wings for Dean, demon wings for Sam... wings for everybody!

When I first entered fandom, I was like ew wing!fic. Never! NEVER! It is silly stupid. (Even if I always liked winged creatures and people in books I read.)

But yeah. Hypocrite much? I love my wing!fic verse and I don't care how narssistic that makes me!

Demon wings for Sam? That's a mental image I never had. Hmm.

But yes, wings for everyone? Why not? Alas, only Dean has them in mine, but everyone should have wings just 'cause, don't you say? LOL

So yeah, I get torn because I have fic ADD. On the one hand, there's SAM AU where Sam finds himself a lawyer and Dean a mechanic and he wants everything back to demon hunter normal, and wingfic where Dean is like omg wings?!

Eh, I should just write a scene in both.

I did the back cover art for Annie's current issue of Route 666, and that's what I did. They're standing side by side, and they've both got wings - Dean's are white, Sam's are black, and where they overlap, Dean makes Sam's light grey. :)

Are you working on any projects currently?

I've got three going on right now, actually. There's that Hathor fic that I really need to get finished before I completely lose what little SG1 mojo I have left. And I'm working on my first SPN fic which, with luck, will be a halfway decent post-ep for Faith.

whisper99 and I are working on a rather massive project together, too, which I think you might be interested in. It's massive in the sense that I've written 20,000 words and I think that might be about 1/8 of my half. It's kinda a secret until it's finished. I'll tell you about it just as soon as she lets me. :D

Nope. It's actually Dean wing!fic. This time I mess around with Dean. I know there's a lot of wingfic for both brothers out there, but my idea suited Dean more than Sam, so Dean is the victim. So they get to switch roles for a bit and get a better idea what it's like to be on the flip side. Heh.
