Wow, it's so quiet these past two days on LJ. *listens to the crickets*

Anyway, LJ is being fickle and not sending me comments. How nice for me.

So even though I am not getting comments and I think everyone's off at a party I wasn't invited to, I'm posting this anyway.

I'm feeling kinda artsy and offering to make icons. I'd mostly like to do Supernatural since that's where my heart is right now, but I'll have another post for other fandoms when I'm done with this. So if you have any icons you'd like to see, I can take a stab at them.

I also want to make some icons for my own pleasure, so do any of you know some awesome brother scenes? Caps for them? Or how about funny scenes with Dean or Sam or both? Awesome other characters like John and Bobby and Ellen and Cas and Mary and...yeah.

I kinda suck at finding caps which is why I don't make tons of icons, so if anyone could suggest scenes and where I can find caps, I would much appreciate it. :)

Okay, wel I suppose I can make an exception for Alec... ;)

I've only watched the series once through - oh that is what I wanted to do this summer! Rewatch DA, bah - so I have a tough time remembering where. Now way you cab narrow it down for me, is there? He was in Joshua's house a lot.

But man, I hear ya. I've been wantung a smiley icon of Alec for a long time myself.

Alec has kinda taken over a rather large part of my fangirlish soul, which is weird because I hated him, but it's all whisper99's fault for convincing me that he's complex and tortured and misunderstood and stuff.

I've only seen DA once, too, though there are a couple of eps I've rewatched. I need to go back through it all again, too.

He was in Joshua's house a lot.

You have a point. He lived there for a while, so yeah, saying he was at Joshua's probably isn't much help.

I know of a vid that it's in, if that would help? It's a slash vid, Alec/Logan, but more for the sake of laughs than anything.

I never hated Alec, and I was predisposed to like Jensen before I watched, but he wasn't a OMG I LOVE HIM type character for me. I thought he was funny, but I was indifferent to him most of the time. I wanted to adore him, but I just couldn't most of the time. Not like how I adore Dean.

I don't know what it was that changed it for me. I think after I watched the seris, sat back, and thought about it, I started to see him a little differently. I also wrote a fanfic for him and I think writing him - as odd as that sounds - gave me a better appreciation for him. Since then, I've only written a few fics with him, but I think he's amazingly complex and I'm bummed we never got to see where his character ended up. I felt like there was so much to explore with him in the Ben/Alec dynamic. It interested me so much that I'm run with a similar type storyline in some of my original stuff.

But yeah. I guess you can say he grew on me ;)

I'll check out the vid and see if I can figure it out :)
