I know I've said this before, but I don't think I'm going to post at K-Site anymore. I keep trying, but there is no way to have a decent conversation over there.

I have been loving the posts here on LJ by jeannev and cloiser_trish, though. So nice to see some of the best of Clark and Tom Welling out there :)

DTS (the whole site DFN) server crashed so I havent been there since that :( all those posts lost forever...

I give kryptonsite a wide berth too, it seems that people are allowed to be as insulting as they want these days when faced with another opinion:/ LJ is a much more relaxing environment

I actually find it more tolerable now that there are more Cloisers/non-shippers on the board. But I really get tired of seeing Chloe fans complain about that fact. For years they were the majority of the board and always made Lois fans feel like we couldn't have an opinion without getting beat down about it. And now they are complaining that Chloe fans aren't welcome there or allowed to speak their mind. It's getting way to hypocritical for me there.

I've seen that, too. It's too bad because there are many Chloe fans there that aren't like that. It's fine to be critical and voice your opinion, but man. It gets tiring when I see different fancamps being jerks. Way way too much baiting.

I support Craig, and K-Site, but its been a tough place for me too. All the different fancamp threads, and all the whining whenever you dare to criticize a character (except Clark, of course) is just making it not as fun as it should be. I know Craig is trying his best to accomodate everyone.

I try, but it's hard. All the fancamps discourage me. I see so many posts from different camps just lookign for a fight. I just want to enjoy the show, you know? One can be critical without being a jerk.

I stand by my mantra that if you write Clark right, everything lse will fall into place. His character really is the key to most everything on the show.

Yeah...I use to watch Smallville (until about half way through this last season, I just can't bring myself to care anymore) but I avoided both K-site and interacting with the fandom in general like the plague. I read a little fan fic and stay away from the rest of it.

Also, I'm in the weird spot of being a fan of both Lois and Chloe. Apparently that makes me strange.

The last half of last season was pretty awful, imo. I did really enjoy the first half of S8, though. If I am looking to be amused, I like to read fandom and laugh at the crazy that abounds everywhere, but sometimes I just want to really discuss aspects of the show. That's kind of impossible.

You like Lois and Chloe? You must be some kind of freak then ;)

(I understand. I'm a little down on Chloe this year, but I've always been a fan of both Lois AND Chloe. It confused people and tends to make me the black sheep in conversation.)

I know just enough about Superman canon that Smallville annoys the heck out of me on a regular basis. I'd be appeased if Clark at least started wearing glasses and flying.

I don't have much faith in the writers to be honest. I think they have done a greta job with Lois and Clark, for the most part, during their run. But Lois and Clark were never the main couple of Smallville and the show writers don't have a very good track record for the lead couples on this show. So I am a little

It's not that they can't write greta couples. I loved Jonathan and Martha. Chimmy was cute at the beginning of S6. I thought Lexana wasn't bad when they hinted at it in S5. It's when the oversaturated angst factor comes into play that it gets ruined.

I think if they just let Clark be the symbol of hope, peace, and justice he's supposed to be everything else will fall into place. Superman mythos works best when things are light and optimistic. They can stall and chase and do all the fun stuff with Clois, but the problems aren't going to change until they fix CLark

I kind of lurk around certain forums out of habit. I'm rarely excited about anything but fanfic (and goofing off) and artwork anymore and lately I'm so busy I don't have the energy for that. Ah well. It's like... people have run out of things to talk about and so they have the same conversations over and over again or something. It's probably just 'cause of the hiatus. I'm getting more and more apathetic about online fandom.

I never really got into the fanfic scene for Smallville. I'm not sure why. I wrote a couple and I read a couple, but that's about it. With all my complaints about the show, you'd think I'd escape to fanfic *shrugs*

People always get cranky and jumpy during hiatus. I just think it's worse this time after the whole Jimmy fiasco. Normally, when SV does something stupid I just roll my eyes and shrug it off. But what they did to Jimmy and AA really pissed me off and soured me on the show. I'm not sure how much of my enjoyment I'll get back. I'm really angry about that.

And of course, what they keep doing to Clark and the other characters. It's too bad because I loved the first half of S8.

Aw, like I said, I try, but I have a hard time interacting with most people in the fandom. I like to talk and discuss. Many others like to argue or see how high they can raise their post counts ;)
