Website Update

Okay, I've gone ahead and updated the Supernatural portion of my website. Now with artwork! Yay pretteh!

My regular SPN fics have been added to the fanfic page and I made a separate page for the wing!fic. The gen parts of the series have a separate table from the het ones. Also, the tables are numbered, but that doesn't mean I'll have that exact number of fics in the series. It's just to start me off. And as I write more, I'll order them even though they can be read out of order without confusion.

Next up will be to update my SG-1 part of the website. I tried to get it all done at once, but I hate updating so I had to stage it out.

FYI, I've been told that the website looks a little funky with tables and text overlapping each other depending on what browser you use. I don't know how to solve that problem. It looks fine to me. So really, I am not that messy and careless. It looks fine to me so I can't see what the problem is. If it's really bad looking, let me know and I'll try something.

Okay, AU means "alternate universe." Now, I suppose you can stick just about anything in this, but in terms of how I write and understand it, the term means "doesn't fit into canon." So if you write a story where John is still alive that is AU. Or if Mary never dies. Etc.

Wing!fic is a term that people use to describe characters who have wings. So, I'm writing this series where one day Dean wakes up with wings. It's totally out of canon and conflicts with the show. I don't normally even write stuff like that, but I thought it would be fun to show Sam and Dean dealing with that problem on top of everything else.

That is why my wing!fic series is AU. It doesn't quite fit into canon, though I'll be following it as closely as I can. I'm a canon nut and most of my fanfic is designed to feel or sound like the show.

Does that help? Are you thinking of writing some fanfic?

That's cool. I like canon the best. I don't really read anything outside of canon unless I trust the person or it sounds like a really good AU.

Then again, I am like readign squat these days *sigh* I'd like to read more stuff by my friends, though. They get priority.

Oh! *is excited* I hope you like it. For some people they fall for it instantly, but a lot of people (including myself) it takes some time to appreciate the characters and the arc.

No hurry - I'm so deep in writing the sequel that I haven't even gotten around to replying to people's comments. And the big, 40K+-words-long piece has a cliff-hanger ending, so I understand if you want to wait until the sequel is out before reading it or something.
