Anyone see Ghost Hunters last night? I enjoy the show, though I always question how much is legit or not. What did you all think about the Moss Beach investigation? Heh.

I caught an episode of Pushing Daisies last night. Huh. It was actually good. Why did I never watch it before? More importantly, why don't I ever listen to anyone? It's a shame it's cancelled.

I've also finally seen The Dark Knight and The X-Files: I Want to Believe. I'll talk about them soon.

Aw, one of my speakers is dead. For cryin' out loud...

I haven't seen last night's episode yet, but Pushing Daisies is brilliant. Even though it's been canceled, you should consider watching the old episodes if you can find them. It's like a solid hour of pure, unfiltered happiness in tv show form; never fails to bring a smile to my face.

*wistful sigh*

I'd really like to watch the old eps sometime. It seems like a fun show :)

It's never too late to discover PD! Season 1 is out on DVD, so you might look for it at the library. That show is love! I'm so sad they canceled it. Kristen Chenoweth wants to do a movie to wrap up loose ends; I hope they do one!

I do really want to see some of the orher episodes. I was surprised how quirky it was and I like quirky.

It really is a shame it was cancelled. A movie would be nice though.

Ditto, re Daisies!

Re the speaker, make sure the plug at the back of the computer didn't just come loose. (Worth a try).

Yeah I'll check to see if the wires are loose again. It's been fritzy for a bit though.

Yep, I saw Ghost Hunters last night. I don't know what to think about the Moss Beach investigation. Poor Grant hurting his ankle. At first I was annoyed that all those things were rigged and the manager/chef guy laughed when they told him at the end. They seemed pretty pissed about it. It was like the place was just looking for publicity. But I was on another site and people were saying that place is known for having all that rigged stuff. They said whomever did the research on it (I'm guessing it was Kris?) should have known and told them so they'd be aware of it.

But again, I really don't know what to believe. If it's a well-known fact that the place has that cheesy rigged stuff, I guess they should have been made aware beforehand. But if not, yeah, I wouldn't blame them for being pissed off (especially since Grant got hurt like that).

I'm just a very skeptical person. If they are investigators, wouldn't they have known about this place? I mean no one can know everything, but usually the frauds are pretty well known. I was wondering if the episode was done on purpose to try to legitimize TAPS. Like, "oh see? We're legit and people like this aren't. We can spot the frauds." I'm not saying that is what they did, but that could have been the appeal of investigating a place that has a shady rep.

My speakers are kind of broken, too. They make strange noises... So far they are low enough that I can't hear them when I'm watching a show or listening to mucis but this might change soon. Besides one of the speakers shuts down completely if I happen to move the cable a little. I'm afraid that I need to buy new ones soon :-(

That is why I'm so worried. My computer went to hell only some months ago (and I had to buy a new one). I can't buy something expensive again so soon...

Oh, the Daisies... I decided to not watch it until it got a season 2, and then it did, and then ABC... Grr. Though, I'm not sure if I'll actually miss it. I certainly don't need to see it every week - I still haven't watched last week's ep. *shrugs* Still, it is a little darling, and I love the background stories by the narrator (Jim Dale). And I love Digby, and Olive Snook. And Emerson's rather cool too. *hugs it*

It's a cute fun show, but quirky so I can see why it might not appeal to the masses. Which is a shame. I am kind of tired of shows being the same all the time.
