I am going to probably get smited for saying something like this...

But if Clark is to ever fly on Smallville and it HAS to be with a woman, I hope it's Lana. Of course, I wish he'd just fly all by himself and not have any ship involved, but if he does ever fly, the first person should be Lana.

I mean they flew in the comics and all.

But yeah. Minority opinion here LOL

But if it has to be anyone, it would make sense that it's Lana. I have no beef with it :)

I'd rather he did it on his own. No woman at all. I don't actually want the event linked to any of the females. To me, this is something that should belong to Clark alone.

Me too. Like I said above, it's his moment, you know? They have made it such a big deal on this show that it's something that should be all Clark.

But if for whatever reason he has to fly with someone, it think Lana is a nice fit. It would make sense. I wouldn't hate it. :)

Nope, by himself. And certainly not Kristen Kreuk's version of Lana because I'm not really a fan of her's. I do like the character of Lana comic and movie wise.

Don't get me wrong. Like I said I want him to fly all by myself. But if TPTB absoultely had to have him fly with someone, it makes sense it would be Lana. I'm not a big fan of her period, but I do know in at least one of the comics that is how they said goodbye.

I'd have no problem with whomever he wants to do this flying for the first time actually, but it definitely should be on his own. I'd like it to be triggered by something catastrophic, like they did in Hidden.

I know. I really really hope he's on his own. Even though I shiop Clois, I really don't want her to be his first flight. I think it should be something all about Clark.

But if they want him to fly with someone I always thought Lana was fitting.

You know what? I was thinking, Chloe has a lot of traits of ComicLana right? I think I've seen people posting similarities and clips at k-site in a Chlana (Chloe=Lana) thread, including first kiss in the barn loft, and finding out the secret on Graduation day, and being a reporter, so if Chloe did get the first flight, that would really cement her as Comic Lana like, not Lois like.

Yeah I was thinking about that yesterday too. There are tons of Chloe and Lana parallels. And while I'm not saying Chloe IS Lana, I think it's fair to say they used Lana material (which was proto-Lois material) in created Chloe to begin with.

So ic Chloe is the Lana stand in, I wouldn't be upset if he took her or a flight. Usually, that signifies goodbye.
