I am procrastinating, so I thought I would look at the top ten fave eps of my most active fandoms. I tried to limit it to five, but haha. Nope. I have other shows I love too, but I'm not as active in them at this time. Maybe another post. Of course, this list is ever changing...
Supernatural
01. In My Time of Dying
02. Faith
03. No Rest for the Wicked
04. Crossroad Blues
05. Devil's Trap
06. Bad Day at Black Rock
07. Mystery Spot
08. Folsom Prison Blues
09. Born Under a Bad Sign
10. Tall Tales
The first three I listed are pretty much set in stone as my top three eps of the series, but the others are always changing. I just love too many eps ;) Plus, they depend on my mood.
Smallville
01. Pilot
02. Insurgence
03. Gone
04. Perry
05. Lineage
06. Talisman
07. Descent
08. Commencement/Arrival
09. Exposed
10. Apocolypse
Some of you may be surprised by this list, and in reality I couldn't fit all the ones I love, just like with SPN. I just happen to feel this show was always its strongest with the Clark and Lex parallels. Clois is icing on the cake ;)
Stargate SG-1
01. Within the Serpent's Grasp/The Serpent's Lair
02. One False Step
03. Abyss
04. The Nox
05. The Crystal Skull
06. Thor's Chariot
07. Foothold
08. Changling
09. Legacy
10. Menace
This is another ever changing list. It depends on my mood and what character I am fangirling at the time since I love the original team so much. And boo. I couldn't fit Urgo.
ETA#1 - I am so very much in love with this Dean and John vid I was given to watch. OMG. They are so flawed and awesome. Oh, Dean.
ETA#2 - Hmm. You know, I don't like being told whether I am active in a fandom or not. I kinda think that is my decision to make. Participation doesn't necessarily mean reading/writing everything I can get my hands on. Frankly, I'm not writing/reading very much these days in any fandom (as in comparison to a couple of years ago) because of school, job issues, and building my pro writing career. Quiet participation is still participation, thankyouverymuch.

Date: 2008-09-08 04:42 pm (UTC)For SPN, I do love "What Is and What Should Never Be." Then again, I am a Dean fan ;) I've only seen it once though so I didn't put it on my list. To be truthful, I left out *a lot* pf eps I wanted to include on my SV and SPN lists, as well as the SG-1 list.
I love "Gone." Watched it dozens of times!

Date: 2008-09-15 12:48 pm (UTC)I totally agree about the Clark/Lex episodes being among the strongest, which is why S7 is actually my favorite seasons so far, especially in the second half. As much as I adore Apocalypse, I still love Traveler just a little bit more. Nemesis deserves a special mention and Shattered is just amazing.
