Well, I finally saw Cloverfield...

I enjoyed it. I think it would have been more fun on the big screen, but I did get to see it for free at the local university.

The characters were a bit shallow and I couldn't relate to anyone in the film, but the actual suspense and horror part was well done. It was like Blair Witch Project done right. I'm a big fan of building suspense and "less is more." The fact we only really ever saw glimpses of the creatures until the very end was fantastic. And the little thingies were creepier than the big one.

So yeah. Enjoyable action/suspense/horro flick, even if the characters weren't memorable.

I loved it. It reminded me of what I wanted King Kong to be - just a fun, raucous monster movie with no illusions about being anything else.

Also, how's you?

It was good. One of the better ones I've seen. It was fun and kept the suspense going.

Also, how's you?

I wish I was better :(

I thought the same thing. I saw it in the movie theaters the day it came out and it was awesome on the big screen. I had a hard time relating to any of the characters, but to not really see the creature until the end was great! None of them surviving was a good way to do it too cause well I didn't really think that any of them were going to survive! So when they were leaving in the helicopter I thought I was wrong. But then again I wasn't. But all in all I thought it was good.
