That's what I get for procrastinating on that fanfic, isn't it?

I have a lot to do today, and I'm already tired. Boo. I have a deadline coming up for original fic and some schoolwork to do. Plus take some background notes for another fic before I return the library books.

Random moment: One of these days I need to watch Superman Returns.

SR does have its bright spots, but it's still just not strong enough for me on the whole.

I'll be honest; I'm terrified of the movie LOL

I grew up on the CR movies and while they were campy, I loved them. It took me forever to except that other people could play Lois and Clark.

But as much as I loved them, I was prepared for a reboot like Batman has had TWICE. Instead, we got a sequel to the part of the mthos that is seriously outdated. That really upset me because the timing was perfect to recreate Superman in a more modern sense and give him the attention he deserves. I mean, it's Superman!

So I've been resistent to watching it. My younger brother who is a comic colelctor and knows DC better than I said it wasn't bad, but it was lacking something.

BR doesn't look too bad, but I am more concerned over KB's Lois. From the previews I've seen, she just doesn't feel Lois to me.

It's hard for me too, because for me these characters are so outdated. I want business man Lex and "rough around the edges" Lois and a Clark that isn't just a farce.

I'll watch it. I have it here waiting for me. I'm just stalling LOL

Dude, you get the best dreams. *sulks* I had a nightmare that I was surrounded by all these ghostish people covered in blood and stuff, and it was freaking me out that nobody else could see them. And then I woke up all scared and I was HOME ALONE!! I could have done with the Winchesters right about then. :P

Yes. It's not brilliant, but worth watching. Although it is consistent with the old movies in the 'Superman is the real Clark Kent', rather than vice versa.

I can't tell you how disappointed I was when I found out it wasn't going to be a reboot. Man, I've been waiting for a reboot movie forever.

I'll watch it eventually. I'm just sulking.
