Every night she would lie in bed listening to the distant winds outside her window. To Janet, the winds seemed to carry hopes and dreams beyond the mountains and the valleys to places that no one could see -- to places far beyond their planet and far beyond the reaches of the Stargate.

Every night she hoped they reached him.

But tonight, she didn't need to rely on the winds to carry her across the reaches of space. Tonight, he was more than just a whisper by her pillow. Tonight her dreams had been made flesh.

Tonight Daniel had come home.
