Shades of Gray, by TheLanaFan. It's Clana. Yes. I recced Clark/Lana. Amazing. But hey, just because I am not big on this pairing doesn't mean I can't be impressed when someone does an amazing job with it.

I highly recommend it. Heck, even if you aren't a SV fan, just go watch for the pretty.

It's changed a lot. it's more of an AU now than anything that could just be considered a kind of prequel. but it's gotten a lot of life back in its 7th season. I'm loving it.

Dude you're so right. They did an excellent job with that vid, I especially liked the picture collages in between verses.

I really liked that vid, I found it on youtube a while back and I was like "Wait I just watched a Clana vid?" LOL, but it was amazing, the song, the vid, everything. Very nice.

It was just wow.

You know, I've never been against Lana as a crush or a love that Clark had in his youth, but SV irritates me sometimes with what they do with it. Still, despite my antagonistic relationship with Clana, this vid just took my breath away. I think I first bumped into it on DI.

Speaking of which, do you go there? I know I've spoken to a Trish on one of the boards...but I lurk mostly.

Yeah I'm the same Trisha at DI, and I also post at the Devoted to Smallville Clois forum.. I was the one that put the Clana vid in the recommendations thread at DI since we can recommend good SV vids regardless of ship, and I thought that one was worthy of it. Regardless, someone decided to trash it just because of the ship. I mean come on, whether or not you actually ship the couple, you can atleast admit it was a great vid. I'm mainly a Clois shipper but I dont have a problem with Clana as much as some people that post at the Clois forums do. I might complain about it sometimes and I do agree that I was irritated with certain things they did with Clana, they dragged it out and held the secrets and lies issue way too long, but other than that, I don't mind it cause I know Clois isn't supposed to happen yet. (I can't say the same for romantic Chlark though cause of the Chloe and Lois cousins factor), but even still, if someone recommended a good Chlark vid, then I can watch it without judging the Chlark ship itself.. whew sorry didn't mean to go on a mini-rant there LOL.

I don't mind rants. That's fine. It's one of the reasons why I lurk so much. I don't really know where I fit into the whole SV fandom.

But really? There was a negative response? That is sad :(

Clois is and always will be my OTP. But Clana is canon and you can't really avoid it. I haven't been happy with it on the show, but I deal. I wasn't overly fond of it in Superman III, but she was sweet. And in the end, it's all about Lois and Clark/Superman anyway. When I started watching the show I was a Chlarker back in S1 and S2 and I was okay with that since I knew that Clois was the end game. I moved away from Chlark when they went the Lois' cousin route. It would just be too weird. And sadly, once I found online fandom, my love of Chloe got tainted a bit by some of the more aggresive fans. You should have seen my face when I learned what Chlois was.

But I've gotten over it and I'm happy with what I like, don't like, and don't let fans colors my opinions, or try my best anyway. :)

With me, I was a sort of Chlarker, I was a big Chloe fan when I started watching the show, which was towards the end of season 3, and then I started watching weekly when Lois came on... I always felt bad for Chloe cause she was so in love with Clark and he wanted Lana, but I got over that after season 5 I believe when I entered the online SV fandom LOL... I think, like you said, it kind of tainted my likeness for Chloe, with the way they praise her no matter what and completely diss Lois in favor for her, and then with season 6 and the way Chloe was towards Lois, it didn't help any.. I've seen an improvement though it seems this season with Blue, it wasn't necessarily as bad and its not like Chloe was wrong about anything she said to Lois. I have yet to watch Gemini but I heard their interaction was alot better than its been in a long time, so I atleast look forward to that somewhat..
