And so MS was on 24 tonight.



I always love the political storylines on "24" even if they are rehashed old storylines.

So MS is playing a not so nice lobbyist. Cool. He didn't have much to do this episode but be sneaky, but I look forward to seeing where he takes the character over the course of his brief stint. He fits into 24 quite well, though. See what happens when you use someone, Lisa? Someone uses you back.

This episode was way better than some of the more recent ones I've seen. it's like all my shows but SG-1 have been in a rut. But the Audrey stuff wasn't bad. And the Noah Daniels stuff was quite good.

I miss Bill. Doyle didn't annoy me this episode. And Audrey's father got to have the best line of the entire episode.

Next week's looks pretty good. The season is almost over, so we'll see what happens.

I thought the same thing when I heard it -- and laughed because, gee, it is so true! Poor Jack couldn't even deny it!

Actually, I'm not a regular viewer of 24. I think I watched part of an episode during its first season, but had no desire after watching it to keep up with it. I'm only watching the show for MS's appearances.

I know that he's trying to get out of the "goodie-two-shoes" rut he said that Daniel was (in an interview about his Jack Sullivan role in Judicial Indiscretion), but I hope to goodness he doesn't continue to play the bad guy. I'm hoping, like you, to see something intriguing in Mark to add depth, but with the way these episodes seem to run, I don't think that we'll see much of him but just on the surface. He's nothing put a little pawn in a very big game. I hope I'm wrong, though.

I just hope that MS doesn't think that he has to play the bad guys to make up for 11 years of playing Daniel.

And the Noah Daniels stuff was quite good.

I've always liked Powers Boothe.

You know, the actor who played the doctor who was going to "treat" Audrey can speak really fast, can't he?

I'm all for MS exploring some range by playing some bad guys. (It's more fun, after all.) But I don't want him to play just bad guys. I'd be disappointed. I really want to see different layers in his acting. Really, that is what I want from all the actors I watch.

(though, I know it's a long shot, but I really don't want to see him killed or tortured or anything...we'll see)

Most people on this show end up dead so I don't have a lot of hope. But I'm guessing he'll get arrested in the end.

It's possible he might be able to squirm his way out of this if he gives up the Russian spy contact. At least enough to survive. Maybe. If he has time to legally change his name to Jack Bauer. ;)

My reaction was, "Oh my - Daniel!"in a lust filled voice which considering how very, very hot he looked, was to be expected ... unless you were my boyfriend sitting next to me on the couch.

I enjoyed his storyline. And I do agree one of my first thoughts was that he was trying to get as far from Daniel Jackson as he could. And that makes a lot of sense. He would want to do something that is completely new and different.

It is going to be interesting. And I hope they don't kill him. It would be interesting to see him come back next season. Though I wouldn't be surprised if his girl friend did shoot him...she is pretty pissed right now and with good reason.
