Yup. It's official. I am sick again. Voice has morphed beyond sexy and sultry now. The thing is I rarely get "real" sick. I get run down. I get stressed. I get blue. I get tummy upsets. But I may get legitimately sick maybe once a year, usually at least 9-12 months apart.

Second time I've gotten sick in the past 6 months! It must be the work environment. I started getting sick when I started working there.

So, since I'm sick I finished up an Sg-1 fic that I haven't posted yet, worked on my original stuff, and have made Smallville icons for the episode Labyrinth. Yay! Just a few. They're all Clark and one Clark/Lana (I know say what??? I *liked* that scene.) I don't have many SV fans on my flist and those who are don't like what I like, so...no one may care. But the icons are shareable in any event.









Later, I may either watch MacGyver or Farscape. Or maybe even an SG-1 ep I've missed in the past: I still need to force myself to watch Prodigy (nothing against Sam; just hate Hailey), and my last 3 S6 eps...Prophecy, Foresaken, and Memento, I think. Or The Little Mermaid.

Whatever I watch, I'll bring more icons with me later.

I hear you, Hailey grates on me too, esp. in that ep (I can deal with her better in Proving Ground). The ep also suffers by being one of those were Daniel was off... somewhere.

However, if you can get past those two things, the ep has some very fine Jack-Teal'c interaction (because of the way it splits those two off together) and some good heroic-Jack bits.

Argh, I hear there is awesome Jack and Teal'c stuff in that episode. I tried watching it before and man, I cannot stand Hailey. I can deal with her in Proving Ground but Prodigy is sooo hard.

But I must do it some day. I need to finish it.

I only saw bits of the new Smallville episode, since plotlines like that tend to make me uneasy, but it amused my inner geek greatly that Clark was wearing almost the exact same restraints that Daniel was in "Lifeboat." And the same-looking scrubs, too. *snigger*

*hugs* I'm sorry you're sick -- again. That totally stinks. Can't comment on the SV storylines since I've yet to see an episode but I like the icons. :)

Prophecy, IIRC, has some interesting bits and the age old question about whether attempting to avoid foreseen events actually causes them to happen. I didn't hate the episode. Foresaken and Memento, I admit, were one-time only deals for me. Once was more than enough.

If you don't want to use the mute button for Prodigy - and man that is an annoying Hailey episode - then might I suggest the fat-forward? You really *won't* miss anything and it's sad to let the little blonde whippersnapper deprive you of the Jack and Teal'c because they really ARE very good.
