Yeah, another drabble. I try to at least make them interesting. This is the only way I can appease all the characters in my head demanding attention from me. Anyway, I wrote this earlier today, before tonight's episode.

Mamma said there would be days like these.

Now, mind you, he wasn't complaining. He'd gotten the band back together and what sweet music they did play.

But, hell now, where were all the hot chicks? All the fun super funky discoveries and, well, the hot chicks?

No, instead he got his fair share of the prune-faced door-to-door salesmen that were selling what no wanted to buy and philosophers that hit each other with sticks.

Nope, not so fun at all.

If he were the paranoid type, he'd suspect General O'Neill behind this.

His raincheck better be in the mail.

Hee!!! Such fun! And poor Cameron does need some hot chicks--he can't very well be a sci fi hero without them. ;)

Heh. Trying to find his voice and make sure I have it somewhere close if I want to write my Dan/Jan novel for that challenge since it's set in Season 9.
