Heh, I am so not a drabble person, but I wanted to give it a shot. I could have easily gone on and on and on. Amazingly, this took me longer to figure out and write than most of my long fics.

Pretty sad that the intro is longer than the little bit itself...

---------------------------------

This had been unexpected.

When Teal'c had pledged his allegiance to the Tau'ri, he had believed them to be a formidable race, one that could join him in defeating the Goa'uld. While not of rock as the Jaffa, Tau'ri men were of air, filled with a speed and intellect that had left Teal'c in awe.

But not the women of the Tau'ri. Unlike the timid water-touched women of Chulak, they were of fire.

And as the wind carried the embers of her fire, he heard it whisper to him all that was right and true.

And it spoke the name...

Samantha.

Weeeee! You posted it! And it is, indeed, a drabble. *is impressed at its drabbleyness* I like the earth, air, fire and water. Go fiery Sam! Though I guess I do feel a bit bad for Drey'auc being one of the 'timid water-touched women of Chulak'. Still, lovely imagery and it's a very Teal'c-like way to look at and describe people. Much lovelyness in few lines. :)

Thanks.

I know, it makes Drey'auc sound bad, but Teal'c wasn't ever very nice to the Chulak woman. He lost his patience with them far more often. Not just with his wife. A bunch of them.

Some of that attitude even extends to Ishta, too. I just see Teal'c respecting the Tau'ri women in a different way.

Yeah, he was actually a right bastard to Drey'auc a couple of times (made me wanna smack him). It was bizarre after seeing how well and naturally he interacted with Sam and Janet, and he wasn't a lot better with Ishta. And the ruckus over Rya'c's wedding and what not was a real winner. >< You're right, he definitely has a much better attitude toward/more respect for Tau'ri women.

he wasn't nice to what's her name either...Shaunauc. Don't know where the ' goes in that one.

But he was nice to his neighbor in Affinity.

At least he's consistent with his behavior ;)

Yep, consistently a bastard to Jaffa women and perfectly fine with Tau'ri women. *smacks him*

Omg...that is the most bizarre picture ever.

Wait a sec...You're giving them to the plot bunnies and not me? How is that fair?

I do this in hopes of more fanfic. I'm attempting to bribe your plot bunnies.

Is this your bunny? The one with mental issues? ;)

And hey! I have a laundry list of fics to write! I just can't through them all.

DON'T FEED THE ANIMALS!

Actually, no. These are internet plotbunnies. They roam the net looking for cookies and offering up really good fanfic plots.

Bunny with mental issues never stole cookies. He looks very similar to the icon I am using now, but the icon bunny isn't him either.

Next time I'm up by my Mom's I should take a picture of him.

I was just curious. Your bunny stories caused me many giggles and I was wondering when I would get to meet the superstar.

LOL I didn't know he had a following! I will definately endeavor to get pictures of him next time I'm up. The Yucky Bunny in my icon is very close to what he looks like. Loop ears and brown and black coloring.
