Changes

Well, I've been mulling this for a bit and it wasn't until this week that I decided on it. I'm going to be making some big changes here. I just am not sure what yet.

This is my happy place. I want it to stay my happy place. And for the past few months, maybe even a year, I find myself actively avoiding it. I read my flist, but not regularly. My moods are up and down. My posting is meh. I want to get it back under control so I can have some fun here again. LJ was always my haven away from the insanity out there.

I don't know if I'll do a massive friends cut or just trim it and use filters more. Or maybe I'll just use this to post fic and art and make a personal journal. (I already have stuff for my original writing anyway.) I haven't decided what I'm doing, but I'll be doing something.

I'll probably post tomorrow with a updated run down of what I like and don't like and what I'm into and what I expect to be in my future. That way if none of it sounds appealing to you or matches what you want, you can cut me. Or maybe I can add you if you have been on my flist and have been under the radar for awhile. We can take it from there.

So there you have it. I love meeting new people and it's not like I want to kick anyone to the curb. I just want a more personal place to be. I'll let you all know what's up as soon as I do.

ETA: Also, you know that fanfic poll I made the other day? Currently it's evenly split between Bobby pov fic and the next wing!verse fic. Awesome way to help a gal who is indecisive. Just sayin'... ;)

I hear you. Usually LJ was a place for me to get rid of frustration or serious thinking. Besides that RL is pissing me off, LJ isn't less effective when it comes to that *grumbles*

But I'm pretty sure I'm going to be back in the LJ mood some times... later.

Yeah, this is my happy place, too. Not sure if you caught that entry where one of my RL friends wanted to view my LJ. I decided not to do it, because this is my place to be a very open me. So, I totally understand you trying to do. Speaking of LJ-cuts, I might have to do some on mine, as well. I have some I haven't spoken to in like...a year. That's kind of bad, lol.
