I can see Sam taking one of Dean's feathers, trying to match it up to the type of bird family they belong to - narrowing it down to some type of bird and then figuring out what the best combination of vitamins and minerals Dean needs to eat in order to best care for his wings.
And then I can see Dean smacking him upside the head when Sam tries to sneak him some extra vitamins ;) *snicker*
