Interestingly, DA is one of the few shows I would consider myself a 'shipper' for. In may case, it's definitely Max/Logan - I have a thing for geeks. Plus, I watched this before I even knew who Jensen Ackles was, so it probably helps I wasn't predisposed to be interested in Alec based on his actor.
You nailed most of my objections about season 2 - and the end, the show was effectively unrecognisable. Which is a pity, 'cause some of the stuff they introduced could have worked really well, if only the production/writing staff had exercised some restraint.
