Wow, you just totally threw out some great ideas here.
I absolutely love the idea of Alec/clone!Max. The possibities are endless. If you write DA sometime, you should totally do that. And if you let me use that idea, I think I'd like to try it too. We can create our own verse! LOL
(But I won't if you don't want to. It's your brainchild.)
I also like the AU approach. In general, I really dislike AUs but I've been warming up to them recently. Not sure why.
