SPN had me at hello, so I'm always baffled when people don't take to it. LOL, you're all supposed to be just like me! People need to read that memo. ;)
Hee! I'm like that about so many things.
I understand it is an arc-y show in many ways. I'm actually not going into it totally blind because it's amazing how much I pick up just from the flailings of the numerous SPNfen on my flist, (and no, I know it's not the same.)
In that way, it's a far more realistic drama than, say, Grey's Anatomy.
