Okay, so this was a request by
svgurl who wanted something Smallville, either Lois/Clark or Cho-Lo. I couldn't think of anything for the cousins right now, so I went with the iconic couple.
I also obviously couldn't keep it to 100 words.
Title: Monday Morning
Season: Eight
Category: Double Drabble (200 words)
Spoilers: vague ones for S8
Pairing/Character: Clark/Lois UST
Summary: It's just another Monday morning at the Daily Planet.

She breezed through the Daily Planet with untamed fire in her eyes.
Clark had become accustomed to the hurricane that thundered past his desk every Monday morning. No matter when he arrived, whether early or with thirty seconds to spare, Lois was there, waiting for him, and ready to blow.
"Look alive, Smallville." She slapped a document onto his desk. "You got yourself a winner."
Clark picked up the paper and arched his eyebrows. "You want me to interview an artist that lives and works at the landfill?"
"Just up your alley," she said with a grin.
"Gee, Lois, I don't know what I would do without you."
The sarcasm bounced off her rough exterior and she reached over, tapping the paper in his hands. "Puff pieces. Someone has to do them."
"I guess that someone is me."
"One day you'll thank me," she said as she grabbed a folder off her desk. She grabbed her coffee – his coffee, again – and then she was off, Hurricane Lois roaring through the office, leaving a path of paper and dazed coworkers in her wake.
And as Clark watched her go, he found himself smiling, knowing he wouldn't have it any other way.
