As for me, I'm closer to being Bi-Winchester than I ever was before, but I'm still more of a Dean girl than a Sam one at the end of the day. I also love John and Bobby, but not in the same way I adore the boys. For fave female, I loved Ellen. I want more Ellen!  I don't ship on this show. Yay for gen!!! But I could have liked Dean/Jo if she had been written a little more adult. Maybe fanfic solves that problem. And John/Mary will always be tragically beautiful :(

I'm not against slash, but I don't know any that's not wincesty. Plus, like I said, I am gen for this show :)

Anyway, thanks. Less than a month for new SV and SPN. Yay!

My favorite male character on SPN is John, by a mile. He didn't even make your list. hehe I was also more of a Dean girl generally, but mainly I just loved to see the guys together. Jensen and Jared on screen together were gold.

I don't like any ships on this show, and I think it should stay far, far, far away from them.

While I didn't love Cassie (from the racist truck episode in season 1), I thought that episode (the Dean/Cassie and Dean & Sam parts) gave a lot of really neat insight into Dean's character and I loved how Jensen played all of it. I liked the idea of him having that relationship. I actually wrote a long part of my NaNo fanfic as a sort of episode tag to that episode. hehe I had a zillion different versions in my mind.

I also liked the character he was with in the season 2 episode with the djin. I'm sorry; I've forgotten most of the episode titles now. *g* Carmen? I thought they had amazing chemistry. Oh, and I also thought he had amazing chemistry with the reaper in the first episode of season 2, and I wish she'd been able to stay.

Also, I thought Sam had really great chemistry with Ava, but not with the werewolf girl. That part of that episode was one of the most horrifying scenes ever. *g* I'm not a fan of blood & gore, but I'd rather watch the guy getting his hand chewed up in the garbage disposal than see anything like that again. hehe

I know it's not your thing, but I'm a Sam/Dean girl... That said, I also liked Sarah from Provenance. Jared had some serious chemistry with that actress, and she was just gorgeous. Dean and Layla (Faith) had potential too... But honestly, bringing in a love interest would kind of screw up the us against the world dynamic they have going on, and I just LOVE that.

Deeeeeeeaan. And, well, I OTP! the boys (or OT3, if the impala is included), but not in a wincest way, necessarily. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing them interact with more women, who are not love interests or victims.

For pairings, I marked Other and Gen. Mostly, I'm more gen than anything, but if I had to pick a pairing for each boy it would be Dean/Lisa and Sam/Sarah.

I'm also coming to like John more and more, as I've been reading a ton of fanfic that portrays him in a way that makes sense to me and also touches me. Too bad the show itself couldn't make me feel that way.

Dean with a hearty dose of Sam on the side! Dean all by himself is also good. *g* Oh and how much I hear John!!! *squishes hot!dad*

I love all of the female characters... but Ruby and Bella are just great, Ruby winning by a nuance.

As for ships... this is probably the one show where I don't really ship anyone per se, but I do like Sam/Ruby & Dean/Bela chemistry.

*cuddles Meg* Sorry hon, I thought about joining you in voting Sam, but in the end I chose Sam with a hearty side of Dean, 'cause, as much as I love my Sammy, I just can't forget about Dean. I'm still very much a Sam girl but gotta give just a teensy bit of love to Dean too. *ducks* ;)

Anyhoo, I'm pretty much gen in the show, too. I do like John/Mary, and I thought Sam/Sarah was a nice pairing. I wished they would have brought her back, if only once. Dean also had some nice chemistry with Layla, as well as Carmen in WIAWSNB.
