Oh, this is so wonderful - Daniel still tracking down the truth and almost proud to make his old theories wrong, sometimes. Recognizing the look in not only the librarian's eyes, but the boy's. And, of course, your title - passing the torch.
Thank you for not having Daniel think about recruiting the boy to the SGC when the time comes! :) It's enough that He knew one day this boy would find his place too.
