It's funny that you mention Mara Jade. I created Essence before I knew who Mara Jade was. Then I started reading the EU books and I was a little huffy over the whole thing. Emperor's daughter vs Emperor's Hand? Hmph. And the characters ended up being a lot like. Don't people argue Mara Jade was a Mary Sue too?
But yes, your Sue was a fandom/show hopper like some of the others here. That's interesting :)
Now, when I am bored I don't daydream about her. I just ship myself with the pretty boys ;)
