OMG! Weekend *clings*

So far my NaNo efforts haven't been so great. I've started, but I'm behind. I keep having trouble keeping my eyes open while writing. I need to put some serious effort into it this weekend.

I also need to work on my SG-1 teamfic! Gah!

Also, I should get my NaNo filter together in the next day or so, so if you'd still like to be on it, let me know, if you haven't said so already. For the record, I'd love to be on any of your NaNo filters.

My NaNo goals have already crashed and burned, and it's November 2nd. I'm trying to readjust the goals and try again. I wish I could have gone to our local kickoff party, that really might have helped.

Ugh, I know the feeling - day 2 and I'm taking the day off. But I have a godawful headache. 28 more days to go, and eight of them weekend days, it's still perfectly possible! We can do it!

I've wimped out and only gone for mini_nanowrimo, but I'd love to be added to your NaNo filter. And don't be to disheratened - it's early days yet. Just think of it as ... lulling the fic into a false sense of superiority before you attack it again!

I met the goal on the first day, but the second one was all full of work and ARRGGH. Our biggest client has this huge project that needs to be done by Sunday, and I didn't even get a copy of it to proofread until Friday noon. So I was at work 'til 7:30, and then I had a Halloween party with some good friends that I certainly wasn't going to miss.

So yeah, I'm at work again on a Saturday, waiting for the second round of proofing. Hopefully I'll be able to get in some good writing while I wait.

On the positive side, I'm really enjoying the new world I'm creating, and already there are lots of fun characters and stuff. So I hope that it will turn out okay, even though I have no plot.
