"Terra Firma" is quite possibly my favorite Farscape episode ever. After so many years trapped on Moya, there was such a huge build-up of John returning to Earth that...I don't know, I have trouble pinpointing exactly why these episodes worked so much for me, but they did. Seeing how completely he had changed since the last time he had been there because of everything he had been through, how his family and friends reacted to that change, how Earth responded to Moya and the "aliens," how wary and disappointed he was as he realized he really didn't belong there anymore, everything with his father and his sister...the whole thing broke my heart. In a very, very good way.
...And now all I want to do is go back and rewatch both of them. *sighs*
