I'm having a lazy weekend. I'm listening to music, writing, and planning my week. I might make more icons tonight or tomorrow. I feel like I deserve a little time to myself. I was kinda of sick last night and only managed 3 hours of sleep, so who cares if I am a bum today?
I've come to the conclusion that I don't write the kind of fic that SPN fandom wants. It disappoints me when I think about it, but I'm not bitter. I enjoy what I do write, and I'm satisfied with the types of stories I prefer to tell. I won't change, and I'll keep writing what I like. And it actually helps keep me focused on my original stuff so I don't get too sucked into fandom. So I try to think of it as a blessing in disguise. I'm just honest about my disappointment LOL
ETA: Because I'm wondering if it sounds like I'm whining. No worries! I like what I write :)
In more writing news, I am a day or two away from finishing that Sam AU where Sam wakes up in another life. I've reached that point where I want to be done, and I'm itching to work on my wing!fic. I'm just about at the climax. It'll be hard, but I think it'll be worth it in the end.
Original fic is moving slowly, but it's moving and to me that's what counts.
