Faceless Presence Part Four in The Broken Dreams; Shattered Memories Series

General Hammond's turn, takes place after Homecoming and Fragile Balance. Not very long, but it gets the point across. Hammond didn't like Daniel very much when the show started, and I wanted to show how that has changed with this little piece. It's a little on the "great to have you back" side, but that is because this series deals with Daniel's return. I always had the impression that after Daniel returned "from the dead" everyone was sort of walking on eggshells around him, afraid he might vanish again. It's an interesting concept, and one that I've exploited on numerous occasions. Though, I want to write a story where they stop doing that. Hmm, someday...

Also, this is a set up for the not so nice stuff that comes up later in the series. Go Grandpa Hammond :)
