Weird Dreams
Oh man. I had weird weird dreams last night. The only one I remember? Dark Angel. Why the heck am I dreaming about that show??
Okay, so I had this dream about Dark Angel. It took place some time after the finale, where the transgenics were intergrated - for the most part - into society. Meaning, they weren't living in the slums or anything, but they still had to be careful since more people disliked them than liked them. That sort of deal.
Anyway, what I remember is that Alec was acting a little standoffish than normal and then one day disappeared. Max, Logan, and OC were a bit confused and taken back by his behavior since he'd become a little easier to handle. So Max and Logan went out to find him and learned he was peddling military secrets to the Australian government. That's right. In my dream, I made the Aussies the antagonists. Sorry! I have no clue why, either.
Max was really angry that he was selling information about them (transgenics) whether it was to a foreign country or the US. Logan thought maybe there was more to this so he urged Max to have some perspective and they'd get to the bottom of it.
Yadda, yadda, yadda...Logan hacks into the Aussie computers while Max breaks into the Australian embassy where Alec is staying until he's transported out to Australia. As Max approaches and is about to tear him a new one, Logan tells her that he found out that Alec had struck a deal for a medical procedure. Apparently, he has a defect that didn't initially present itself, and now that they were approaching their late twenties, it was manifesting. It was some kind of heart problem that could kill him. Only, the Australians were not going to hold their part of the deal and perform the operation - they were going to kill him and use his body for science.
So, Max goes in and rescues Alec and explains to him (rather hotly) what really is going on. He's pissed and embarrassed, but agrees to go with her and try to set things right. As they are sneaking out, they are discovered and Alec (I assume) drops to his knees because he's having a heart attack. Max starts to fight them off and is hoping they can get out and Alec will pull through.
And I woke up.
Bah. I wanna know what happened!

I just started watching season 2 of DA yesterday, actually - I finished season 1 months ago and only just now got around to starting season 2. Jensen so young!
