Spiders are so elusive. I once saw one webbing down from the window. I raced to get my broom (I go a bit overboard as I smash them to death - they know the rules. They're fair game if I see thme.), and when I got back I couldn't find the sucker anywhere. It literally kept me awake that night.
Spiders are nothing. They don't bother me. Now before we had our floors redone and sealed up, this creature, I swear it looked like a mutant ant, crawled out from underneath my chair in the living room. Scared the living daylights out of me. So spiders don't scare me now. Plus, my cats will eat them.
