Graysons come to CW?

Please tell me no. Please.

CW's Graysons takes flier on Robin

*cries*

Don't touch my Dick Grayson. Don't. My fave Batman character. Noooooo.

I guess they are looking to have it replace SV if that show isn't renewed. If SV is renewed, it could play alongside SV. So, what that would do to SPN, I don't know.

It's being produced by Smallville's Souders and Peterson, and Supernatural's McG.

Mind you, I was super skeptical of Smallville when it first aired and was surprised that I enjoyed it. But I remain skeptical for a show like this. What kind of story can you tell about a boy before he is taken under by Bruce Wayne? I don't want to think about how bad this will conflict with Batman canon. I sort of go lalalalala with Smallville as it is.

I still think they should just go with a Green Arrow spin-off. Oh well. We'll see.

I imagine the reason this is more attractive to them then a GA spin-off is that this is likely to skew younger, since it seems that Dick will be a teenager.

I'm not sure its anything I'd be interested in, personally.

It doesn't sound appealing to me.

Someone mentioned a Batgirl show would have made more sense if they couldn't have a Bruce Wayne show. That actually does sound decent. You could have Robin or Nightwing pop in all the time.

*shrugs* All I ask is for SV to have a decent ending and for my Supernatural to be left untouched so it can finish its 5 year series run.

Not too much to ask for, right?

You know, I really wish WB would get their act together. The audience isn't stupid. We *can* handle movies and tv shows at the same time and understand differences. I could happily watch a Batgirl show and then go and watcha Nolan film.

It's what's bugged me a lot about Smallville. I bet we wouldn't have had Losi restrictions and roadblocks on some aspects of Smallville if the movie division or whoever could grasp that concept.

But I like your positive spin on SPN and the end of SV. We need more positive thoughts!!

Honestly, it's SV=Clark for me. If there is no Clark, there is no Smallville. I understand that Smallville is bigger than just Clark Kent, but the premise of the show is Clark so I don't want a S9 without him. If they do a S9 and TW signs (and ED please), I'll have some reservations because of the stall tactics, but I'd still watch.

Let's just hope they do Clark's story justice :)
