Taken

Fair warning. I anticipate that over the next couple of months I will be on a Supernatural kick. My Supernatural obsession, as evidenced by last year, burns hard and strong, but also burns out fast. So, unless this bout of SPN obsession is more permanent, my fickle mind will probably latch onto something else soon.

However, in the meantime, please feel free to feed the obsession with squee and discussion. It's eating my brain!

(P.S.-Smallville/Superman related obsessions are still running strong, but I'm more quiet about them right now. Stargate is always a constant, but I'm on a little break in anticipation of the movie.)

Frankly, I don't know how, once bitten by the Winchester brothers, anyone could lose the obsession. I don't even like most of S3, yet here I am writing and writing my own AU story because the boys deserve it. ;)

I've noticed that I am very much a DVD person for this show. When I first caught the end of In My Time of Dying, I was intrigued enough to buy the DVDs and last March I went on a watching binge and was totally obsessed with it. I was on vacation and I pretty much consumed most of the season in that time period.

So, then I started watching what was left of S2. I wasn't impressed. "Heart" totally turned me off and I lost interest. (Even if the ending minutes of that episode were beautiful.) I didn't even like the finale very much but that might be because I was grumpy about episodes like Heart.

I'm enjoying S3 a lot more than you are and the changes haven't bothered me. I also feel like the episodes have been getting stronger and stronger as the season continues, and I'm sad that t's going to get cut short.

But I don't know. This burst might be hear to stay. I'm writing my very first SPN fanfic myself, something I never thought I would do, so it might be more permanent than I thought.
