Drabble: Borrowed Time
This actually helped me to relax. It's only a short little drabble, but now I feel like I can handle things a bit better. Weird how that works, huh? I don't have a Jacob icon though...bah. Just not even icon space for my growing icon addiction. I'll just use another then.

One could say he'd been living on borrowed time. He'd cheated death one too many times, and now the sucker had come back to bite him in the behind.
Maybe there was some truth in those old adages. But they never told the whole story. They didn't mention the release he'd felt when he'd held his estranged son or the joy in seeing his grandchildren for the first time. They'd never capture his pride and his love as he watched his Sammie soar to new heights.
Borrowed time? Maybe. But for Jacob, he knew that it was much, much more.
*sigh* Eventually, I want to finish my plotty team fics. I do.
