Drabble: OF Fire (Teal'c/Sam) G

Heh, I am so not a drabble person, but I wanted to give it a shot. I could have easily gone on and on and on. Amazingly, this took me longer to figure out and write than most of my long fics.

Pretty sad that the intro is longer than the little bit itself...

---------------------------------

This had been unexpected.

When Teal'c had pledged his allegiance to the Tau'ri, he had believed them to be a formidable race, one that could join him in defeating the Goa'uld. While not of rock as the Jaffa, Tau'ri men were of air, filled with a speed and intellect that had left Teal'c in awe.

But not the women of the Tau'ri. Unlike the timid water-touched women of Chulak, they were of fire.

And as the wind carried the embers of her fire, he heard it whisper to him all that was right and true.

And it spoke the name...

Samantha.

Yeah, he was actually a right bastard to Drey'auc a couple of times (made me wanna smack him). It was bizarre after seeing how well and naturally he interacted with Sam and Janet, and he wasn't a lot better with Ishta. And the ruckus over Rya'c's wedding and what not was a real winner. >< You're right, he definitely has a much better attitude toward/more respect for Tau'ri women.

he wasn't nice to what's her name either...Shaunauc. Don't know where the ' goes in that one.

But he was nice to his neighbor in Affinity.

At least he's consistent with his behavior ;)

Yep, consistently a bastard to Jaffa women and perfectly fine with Tau'ri women. *smacks him*
