I went ahead and signed up for the Supernatural gen Big Bang. I don't know why. I do stupid things. I have the wing!fic I need to get posted. I have a Dean POV side story for Under the Blood Red Moon (Fate Comes for Him) that I promised meg_tdj, and I have enough other things to keep me busy.

It was a week ago or two I signed up? I blame lack of SPN for my insanity *sigh*

I've retired most of my ideas, as I do once too much time has passed since I first thought them. Canon becomes weighted and I lose the spark. But Meg gave me a couple of suggestions and I may have settled on one.

If I wasn't stupid enough to do that, I also agreed to one of the prompts at hoodie_time. Someone needs to keep me away from the internets.

Smallville and Supernatural return tonight!

We won the TV Guide poll and SPN has its first TV Guide cover. Yay! I picked one up the other day and I am still grinning like an idiot even though they photoshopped the heck out of their faces.

I haven't read the article yet, but yay!

Okay, Supernatural and Smallville? You continue to rock. Seriously.

Normally, I am a spoilerphobe for SPN, but I do watch the previews at the end of the episodes and I have watched the preview for SPN's episode next week a few times now.

I know I haven't said boo about it, but I am totally in love with SPN this season. I'm talking eleventy1 and all.

Is it perfect? No, of course not. But I'm having a blast and that is all that is important. (ME ME ME ME ME.)

Pleeeeease...getting impatient now.

So in my quest to keep on cleaning, I have started to go through my old notebooks. I'm bad for writing snatches of fic in different notebooks and I want to consolidate. And my notebooks tend to be this mish-mash of stuff from various years. So I have stuff in here from when I was in grad school, and then from when I was in business training sessions, and then stuff from just a couple of years ago.

I found tons of snippets from posted SG-1 fic, like Russian Roulette, part of A Priori, and some other stories. I also found a snippet I'd written from Pandora's Box from the SPN side of things.

But what cracked me up the most is two really quick notes I'd taken on S3 SPN episodes. This was when I was in denial about the show and I was "forcing" myself to watch it every week. I had already seen S1 at this point and fangirled it, but I had not seen much of S2 (only a handful of episodes), and my crazy obsession had died down. Little did I know it was just dormant and I was in denial like whoa.

Anyway, my exact notes for two episodes (and I don't take notes usually):

HAHAHA. So funny. I also found some lists and some original story chunks I had been working on, but will likely abandon. Just not very good, you know? And I found some of my first first notes on series I want to write. Tons of notes on any angel story I wanted to write before I had even watched any Supernatural. And before angels were even on that show, heh.

So there. Just wait until I get to the OLD stuff. Oh man. That'll be hilarious.

Anyway, a few things:

meg_tdj is doing an SPN rewatch this summer. She's already started and is about 9 or so eps into S1, but if anyone wants to join, feel free. It's watch an episode a day at your leisure, so no specific times are set up. I'll be jumping in this week and trying. I'm notoriously slow at rewatching anything.

Before she mentioned the SPN rewatch, I was planning a Dark Angel rewatch and just hadn't announced it. Well, I am announcing it now. Really low key and low pressure. I'm going to rewatch the series this summer/fall and I will be going at a ridiculously slow pace. So if any of you want to join me, that's cool. I'll only probably be watching 2-3 episodes a week, starting today.

There are no set posts or conditions or structure. Just thoughts on the episodes, some art if you feel like it, fic, whatever. I tried that with X-Files and that turned into nothing, sadly. So I am just using it as something fun to do over the summer and both shows don't have like 8+ plus seasons, so less pressure for me, LOL.

I'm behind on the TV meme, but I'll back to it shortly.

Yesterday, we did see some of the effects of the fires in Quebec. Everything was hazy and smokey. Yuck.

I had something else to say, but it's gone now. Ugh. So fatigued! Why?
