Sera Gamble said in some interviews that Dean didn't settle with Lisa because he was madly in love with her. He's always been a family first kind of guy, and here is this family he could be part of. And that is what I see. He cares and loves Lisa, but it's complicated. Dean wants to be part of a family. This family was ready-made. For me, Jo will always be the one for him and he lost her. It affected him all last season.
