Aw man.. that was beautiful! Such a sad story, really. Bobby breaks my heart, and I kinda feel bad for not liking him being 'fixed' like he was in the finale. Oh, I'm glad he can walk again, but I would have liked it to maybe be part of the whole Crowley-deal, and not due to Castiel. But hey, mayby I read the scene wrong, and it will be part of Crowley... I like how you wove Bobby into this, how he was part of it all but the one time he felt guilty for doing nothing to stop John, and the second time feeling so useless that he can't even be really happy about the outcome.
Poor Dean. I can't imagine what strength it would take for John to do THAT to his kid. I know it was the thing that worked, and maybe John was right, and he just couldn't think of good memories with his kid - which in itself breaks my heart. But ... oh man. Poor Dean, poor John. Poor Sam.
I'm really, really happy about that last paragraph and the last sentence - about how much Dean actually cares about all this and Bobby.
