Well, I decided to give this a try even if raloria read my brain and beat me to it. We have to try something at least once, right?



This is yet another Supernatural friending meme for the hiatus, but not just for the show. Aside from meeting more Samgirls or Deangirls, this is for people that are looking to make creative fandom friends - maybe you're an artist looking for fellow artists or a ficcer who would like to meet other ficcers to chat with - and maybe even share something in common beyond the show.

Disclaimer: While this is open to everyone, my primary goal is to meet more fans that don't wincest or slash in this fandom. I know many lovely people who do and that's cool, but I would love to meet some more gen or het people. So if you are a genner or a het fan, please make your voice heard :)

Deangirl? Samgirl? Both? Definitely a Deangirl, but I like them both. Can't have one without the other!
Favorite characters (aside from the brothers): Bobby, John, Castiel, Chuck, Ellen, Mary.
Favorite episodes: In My Time of Dying, Faith, the beginning of Lazarus Rising, Wishful Thinking, and many many more. But I have this weird thing for Phantom Traveler.
Least favorite episodes: Heart, Route 666.
Favorite brother moment: Currently, the grabby scene at the end of Lucifer Rising, Sam speaking to coma!Dean in In My Time of Dying about how they were just starting to be brothers again, and the hug at the end of Mystery Spot.
Are you GEN, a shipper, or slasher? (Or somewhere in between?) I watch the show for the brothers so I am here for family. So, I guess I'm GEN.
Favorite pairings (if any): I'm not in favor of any ships on the show, except John/Mary. But in fandom, I do play with Dean/Jo so far.
Do you Wincest? Absolutely not. No offense - it's just not for me.
RPF? Nope, I don't like that either.
If you could have any character come back who would it be? John!
What are you hoping for in Season 5? I want the brothers to heal as best they can and come back together so they can screw the demons and the angels to fight to save humanity as they kick it in the Impala ;)

What do you enjoy about SPN fandom? Art, vids, fic, community
Spoilers or no? Spoiler-phobe. Sometimes I do cave and when I do, I keep it to myself so no worries.
What kind of SPN fans are you trying to meet? I would really like to meet some down to earth SPN fans. People who may favor a brother, but like them both.
Do you meta/discussion? Picspam? I discuss a little.
Do you read SPN fanfic? If so, what kind? Don't read much right now, but brother focused non-smarm.
Do you write SPN fanfic? Create art? Vids? I write fanfic and create icons. I have some vids started.
If you do, what genres? (AU, angst, humor, etc.) Mainly a plotty writer who focuses on the brothers, maybe a little more on Dean. I write angst, humor, drama - whatever. I don't tend to write AU, but I am writing an AU now with wing!fic which I never thought would happen. I write Gen, but also a little bit of ship.

Hobbies: writer, artist...I do like the paranormal, astronomy, history, ancient scripts, etc. I'm trained as an anthropologist.
Favorite type of music? I like anything with a beat. I tend toward rock, alt, hard rock, metal, and I've taken to epic metal lately. But I listen to a lot of different stuff.
Favorite group/artist? Muse, Kamelot, U2, and many others.
Favorite movie? The Empire Strikes Back
Favorite book? Good Omens
Other TV Shows besides SPN? Smallville, Lost, SG-1, Dark Angel, X-Files. Not a show, but I still have a fondness for Star Wars.
Other fandoms: I was very prolific in SG-1 fandom, but I'm not active right now (still love my team!). I also write a little Smallville, but the finale put the show in the doghouse for me right now. I dabble in Dark Angel fanfic, too.
What do you post in your LJ? Mostly random stuff, rants, squee, icons/art, fanfic, and whatever else I find.
What are you looking for in an LJ friend? Aside from some fannish stuff in common, I am looking for friendly people who like to talk. I love to write and talk about writing, so any budding writers would be great.
What would you rather not have on your flist? Drama, wank, negativity to the point it brings everyone down.
Journal locked? Semi. Fannish stuff is public and personal stuff is locked.
Anything else? I am looking for SPN friends that like to chat about several things and who aren't drama queens. I don't need to know the bashing or the brother wars. We may not always agree and there may be things we don't like, but why make it into a huge whine fest? Just fun and squee :)

But yeah I'm looking to be more active in SPN fandom wise, even if it's just in smaller circles. So hence friending meme.

DA I enjoyed more than I thought it would. Though, I confess I just watched it for Jensen. Tv needs more Jensen I say LOL

Like a ninja, haha, awesome. It`s not a bad thing if people don`t know the own name. me, I at least try to pretend no one knows me outside of my little LJ world. And I think I`m correct about this, but this is more than fine for me anyway.

I love SG-1. This show is a long time Love of mine, the one where I began doing fan art for at first actually, back in the dark ages ;D

and I still have SG-1 on my "must do Vids and Wallpaper for" list.

Dark Angel, I was a fan since day one. But, weird thing, I never was into the whole Max/Logan thing. Logan gets on my nerves, big time. Did so from start, and still does.

Maybe this is why I do Max,Alec Videos *lol*

I liked Max/Logan for a good chunk of S1 until it went into obvious stall territory. And while I loved Alec and Joshua in S2, Max and Logan made me want to jump off a building LOL

Oh but it's so true isn't it? I love this show because of the rich plot and the amazing acting. There is such a depth to it without it being too much, you know? It rips my heart out but keeps me smiling at the same time.

And I love how it focuses on family. *happy sigh*

So that is what I look for in fandom too. Yay plot!
