Tech Question

Let's see if I can make sense here...

Does anyone know the code/format to create those textboxes we often see in a post? Inside the box, there will be a chunk of text coded and ready to go and all you have to do is copy and paste?

Do you know what I'm talking about?

I'd like to know how to do that. I've wanted to for a long time LOL

<*TEXTAREA NAME="comments" COLS=30 ROWS=2>
<*/TEXTAREA>

Just remove the asterisks and you should be good to go. :)

In the html view write

< textarea >This is where your text or code goes.< /textarea > (minus the empty spaces)

Then it looks like this:

I think that should do the trick :-) I think there's a way to change the size too but I'd have to look that up.

Thanks! I was thinking eventually hosting some kind of meme here - not sure what kind - and I wanted to figure out how to do it :)

Which is really just the same thing without the cool demonstration to go with. :) Hee.
