When I was going off on nothing on Thursday night, why didn't you shake me about Smallville?
I did! But you didn't reply to that part, so I just let it go.
I think I know who the person who dragged Lionel away was, but it's a spoiler and I'm not 100% certain. But I thought it was a nice way to have him absent since the actor is doing plays.
I loved Bizarro and Smallville's take on it. It was close enough to make you smile but different enough to be its own thing.
Lex was just beyond awesome in this episode for me.
I'm still frustrated with Lana. I mean, I know what part of her storyarc is for the season, but I wish they would do more with her. Part of Lana's problem is that when they started the series, they divided iconic Lana into Lana and Chloe. Chloe got the interesting personality and Lana got the damsel in distress. it's a shame because I really want to like Lana more. And I have no idea why she is in China. Just please no more stupid magic plot. I understand they brought in magic to show that Clark is vunerable to it but it was the worst storyarc ever.
You know, I was confused about the red streak. We know it's not Clark. I heard someone say they thought it was J'ohn. And that would make sense, actually. So I am sticking with that.
And OMG, wasn't his character just made of win this epiosde? I loved him to pieces. Really. He's just what Clark needs - an alien that can sort of be the middle man in between Jor-El and Clark's human life.
I think Chloe's power is really lame, but I think they did it to give her character something to do and also to distinguish her more as her own character with her own arc. I'm happy for something for her character to struggle with, especially with her having studied freaks for so long, but it still is a lame power.
Btw, I have seen screenshots from an upcoming episode that has a certain guest star that has the initials DC and WOW. All I can say.
