I used to get all fretful over whether the recipient would like it or not, but I realized that wasn't really the root of my stress. It's more that I often I struggle with the prompts and then I feel weighted down by getting the story finished. My stories always run over or end up longer than I anticipated since Im a plot heavy person. If I could write something quick and be done, i don't think it would bug me so much. But I just can't debote so much time to writing long plotty fics right now for ficathons.
